Fave 4 Science of Reading Bloggers

My Fave 4 series is all about sharing things I love! Tried and true resources, books, materials, and more that I have found invaluable in my teaching. This post is my Fave 4 science of reading bloggers! I’ve been blogging for ages and it has always been one of my favorite ways to find teaching ideas as well as connect with other teachers. So it only makes sense to share 4 other bloggers that share knowledge of the Science of Reading – besides the content, you find right here on Tess the Krafty Teacher of course! 1. Snippets by Sarah

Sarah is an Instagrammer and blogger that shares great content, especially regarding dyslexia. Check out her dyslexia related posts HERE. She is always sharing great ways to use anchor charts, pocket charts and sticky notes!

2. The Literacy Nest by Emily Gibbons

Emily is a dyslexia practitioner and Orton Gillingham guru who shares ways to use it most effectively! She also has a course and great tips on becoming an OG tutor! Check out her post HERE on creating lists of words to use in your phonics lessons.

3. Jennifer at Skating Through Literacy

Jennifer is an elementary reading teacher and ice skating coach! She shares lots of tips and tricks including ones for distance learning like THIS post for phonemic awareness virtually! This is definitely something we can all use help with after this past year.
